The Varsity Softball team placed first in the 2017 Richmond Invitational. The invitational took place on Saturday, April 15, 2017.

Richmond started the day playing Hagerstown and getting the win with a score of 4-0.

Sophomore Kelsey Mullins went 2 for 3. Senior Brooklyn Vickers added some extra offensive help when going 3 for 3 at the plate. Junior Bekah Johnston also pitched a full game, allowing a win for the Devils.

Richmond faced Centerville in the championship game and won with a score of 13-2.

Senior Ryanne Spicer went 3 for 5 at the plate. Vickers came back with more help on the offensive side and went 4 for 5 at the plate. Johnston pitched a the full second game also, allowing another win for Richmond and an invitational championship.
