Students of the week – 4/1/19
The Register online has started a new series of “Students of the Week,” where teachers nominate students from every grade who deserve recognition for doing an excellent job. These are the following students who have been chosen for the week of 4/1/19 through 4/7/19. We will update the series every Monday.
9th Jaeden Mittenthal
Jaeden played varsity soccer and is an Early College member.
“He is polite, kind, willing to work with anyone and instead of rushing out after 7th period he stays and helps clean up,” science teacher Stephanie Stout said. “His love of snacks also always makes me smile and he is just a genuinely nice person.”
10th Tyson Smith
Tyson is a member of the Dungeons and Dragons club
“He greets me in the morning and is always pleasant,” FACS teacher Katie Reising said. “He’s willing to help, and stays focused on the task at hand”
12th Harrison Frame
Harrison is a varsity swimmer and plays in the RHS Band.
“He is such a great leader and wonderful student,” band director Nathan Rigsby said.
12th Madison Allen
Madison is a member of the Gay Straight Alliance and plays in the RHS Band.
“Maddy has really stepped up in the band class this week,” music teacher Samantha Hach said. “For unforeseen circumstances, she has had to step up and learn all new concert music for two separate ensembles (when other band students are only in one ensemble) and has done a GREAT job! I am very impressed!”
