As the year goes on and COVID cases continue to rise, Halloween this year is going to be different. Most are choosing to stay at home and have their own celebrations. Here a few different activities that can still make your Halloween just as spooky.
Decorate and Carve Pumpkins
Carving pumpkins is a tradition done with family and close friends. You can carve, paint, or stick on any template you want. A recommendation would be to pre-buy your pumpkins before Halloween to make sure you have enough for the night.
Watching movies together is a classic. Grab some of your favorite Halloween movies like Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown and set the atmosphere. Decorate around your TV with spiderwebs and pumpkins and settle in with your favorite candies. And having some close friends tag along can make your night even better.
Put your costumes on
Even if you’re not going out trick-or-treating it doesn’t mean you still can’t put that costume on you’ve been planning out for months! Dress up to your heart’s content and take those pictures and post them. Have a costume competition with your siblings or through a Zoom meeting and order in your favorite foods.
