Movies can embellish the feeling of being a child, the thrill of fear, and the anticipation of life to come, but sometimes movies can make you feel really old.

 

Movies that came out 10 years ago:

Up

Up is the cinematic movie of an old man tying thousands of balloons to his house to go to Paradise Falls, until a young wilderness explorer joins him on his extensive adventure. Up came out on May 29, 2009, by Disney.

 

 

Avatar

Avatar is a movie about an ex-marine that must connect with alien life forms in the land of Pandora. It is a thrilling love story between two unlikely characters in a threat of survival. Avatar came out on December 18, 2009.

 

 

 

The Blind Side

The Blind Side is a touching story of a struggling teen that stands out from the rest due to his size and protective instincts. With the help of a loving adoptive family, he sees his potential in football and in school. The Blind Side came out on November 20, 2009.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy is an action movie based off of a ragtag team of five unique characters trying to save the universe. Guardians of the Galaxy came out on August 1, 2014, by Marvel Studios.

 

 

 

The LEGO Movie

The LEGO Movie is a cinematic movie about an average construction worker named Emmet that has to save the entire Lego universe. With his group and acquired skills, Emmet finds himself and newfound powers. The LEGO Movie came out on February 7, 2014.

 

 

The Fault in our Stars

The Fault in our Stars is the romantic tale of Hazel Grace, a 16-year-old cancer patient, that meets her witty counterpart, Gus. This coming of age story shows Hazel Grace finding herself and learning to be more than her diagnosis. This movie left most teary-eyed by the end. The Fault in Our Stars came out on June 6, 2014.
