Students of the week – 4/15/19

The Register online has started a new series of “Students of the Week,” where teachers nominate students who deserve recognition for doing an excellent job. The following students who have been chosen for the week of  4/15/19 through 4/21/19. We will update the series every Monday.

9th Natalia Hampton

“She has made great strides in Biomedical Science since starting at the beginning of the year,” science teacher Heidi Hisrich. ”I’ve been deeply impressed with her improvement and her willingness to help other students learn about the blood flow of the body and how to take blood pressure.”

10th Summer Miller

“She has gone above and beyond with her school work.” English teacher Tia McGarish. “She stands out for being very kind to her classmates, helpful, and always turning in her work on time.”

11th Taysha Scheve

“She has been a dependable and enthusiastic HOSA leader,” science teacher Heidi Hisrich. “She participated in our Remote Area Medical service trip over Fall Break and has developed and maintained an Instagram feed for our team.”  

12th Jailen Baldwin.

“He has really shown how dedicated he is to graduating over the course of this semester,” English teacher Emily Sherrow said. “His smile and the dance moves, he does when he is happy to brighten up the room.”
