Students of the week – 3/11/19

The Register online has started a new series of “Students of the Week,” where teachers nominate students from every grade who deserve recognition for doing an excellent job. These are the following students who have been chosen for the week of 3/11/19 through 3/17/19. We will update the series every Monday.

9th Katherine Freeman

Katrine is a Devilette, a member of National Honor Society and Student council.

“She is always very enthusiastic and positive,” science teacher Heidi Hisrich said. “I’ve seen a tremendous amount of persistence and hard work from her.”

10th Madeline Stults

Madeline is an early college student and is a member of the National Honor Society.

“She is always extremely positive and hard-working,” science teacher Heidi Hisrich said. “She is also very polite & caring and brings a great attitude to all that she does.”

11th Yieudiel Rojas

Yieudiel was a varisty soccer player and member of National Honor Society and International club.

“He is a hard-working student who has genuine compassion for his peers,” english teacher Tia Weist said. “He excels in groups, but also works well independently.”

12th Faith Hall-Wages

Faith is a staff member of the RHS Register newsmagazine.

“She’s always willing to help others,” journalism teacher Jeff Gabbard said. “She has grown as a writer and designer and has become a valuable mentor for others on the staff.”
